The Main Plot Long ago, the four original Clans entered into their most dire of times. When StarClan sent their chosen cats to find the new territory by the Lake, the Clans started to move as one. Throughout their travel to the Lake, destruction hit and destroyed the new territory before the Clans had even arrived. StarClan decided to intervene even more by giving a single cat the gift of bending. These four cats grouped together to forge the Lake territory into a new creation for the Clans to live in. After seeing such success, StarClan told the Clans to rename themselves into the element given to each. ThunderClan became FireClan, RiverClan became WaterClan, ShadowClan became EarthClan, and WindClan became AirClan. A few generations passed and there was an even greater need for balance. That was when the Avatar was created, master of all the elements. The Avatar acts as a bridge between the Clans and StarClan. Many generations have passed to where the time before the elements was forgotten. The current Avatar has forsaken his duties after his entire time as the Avatar being in peace. In his older age, the Avatar has willingly become a kittypet living far away from the Clans when his new Twolegs moved states away. Two of his Guard passed away from old age soon after the Avatar became a kittypet. The medicine cats are frantically reaching out to StarClan to strip the current Avatar of his abilities to allow the next one to be born but StarClan have refused, saying that stripping the Avatar of his abilities would break the cycle. So the Clans wait for the next Avatar to be born. Meanwhile, will one or more of the Clans take advantage of the Avatar's decision to abandon them?
